What safety measures are being taken to ensure it's safe for me to visit the office?

Masks are required in the common areas of the suite. Once we are seated within the office, you have the option to remove the mask given the office space exceeds social distance guidelines.

To allow time to thoroughly disinfect the space in between sessions and to avoid client contact with multiple people, sessions are scheduled 15 to 30 minutes apart from each other.

How does therapy work?

I view therapy simply as a conversation.

Through these conversations, we can navigate/work through some of the rough patches that are inevitable in life and relationships. Most of my clients come in for hourly sessions for the first 4-6 weeks and then gradually step down to every other week and potentially once a month to once a year for maintenance.

The step-down process allows clients time to practice the tools and resources gained throughout the experience and assess what is working/going well and what may still need shifting or healing.

Do you see couples together or separately?

During the initial (“assessment”) phase of the therapeutic process, I typically meet with the couple together for the initial session to get a feel for the challenges that may be occurring within the relationship.

After the first couple’s session, I tend to split the couple up for (at least) one individual session each to gain a better understanding of each partner’s individual/respective histories.

The fourth session is technically the second couples session, which I refer to as “the bridging session” - this is where we are able to start bridging the gaps in differences in perspectives and expectations to start the work toward a common goal.

Do you take insurance?

Infinite Intimacy offers out-of-network services.

If your insurance plan covers out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a detailed receipt (i.e. a Superbill) for the services rendered if a diagnosis applies.

Please check with your insurance company in regard to potential reimbursement for services.

Can I use my FSA or HSA for payment?

Absolutely! Therapy with both individuals and couples is in fact a health care service.

Your mental health is equally important as your physical health, we cannot fully have one without the other :)
